Welcome to my blog and here’s a little bit of info about me.

I’m 34 with 4 amazing kids and great wife to be although we’ve been together for 15 Years we just haven’t got around to tying the knot yet, I have been a bit of a wheeler dealer since the age of 18 when i first started my own business (hence the name of this blog), by now I should be living the high life but have never really took things too seriously. My main down fall is the ability to stick with things, I absolutely love to start businesses and new ventures but as soon as there actually running I lose all interest and let it slide.

I moved from doing “real life” stuff in to the online World in about 2004 and started with a poker site, I made some decent money so never really bothered to take a look around to see how I could improve things etc, It was far easier to spend time in the pub and make a few hundred a week doing very little. Things have changed a lot since those good old days and the online market place is tougher than ever to break in to, that said there are loads of opportunities and niche markets which remain untapped.

The aim of this blog is mostly to keep me focused, I figure if I write about what i’ve been doing, what I need to do and what i have learned then that should help me to concentrate and not lose interest in what I’m doing . . . sounds good in theory but we shall see!

Despite having 6 Years experience in online marketing and poker affiliating i actually know very little and have in the past few months started to learn a lot, with the help of some fellow affiliates and other peoples blog’s which I will share with you as my own blog grows. So it’s more or less back to school ( I didn’t go much the first time around) and try my best to succeed with my new ventures, I’ll be buying and selling web sites, building new sites around what i think are profitable niches, selling stuff on a few sites and showing others how I did it, discover what mistakes I made and hopefully learn how to avoid the pitfalls.

The name of the blog is Online Del Boy and i was going to use it to try and make a Million in 12 months, for once though I’m trying to be more realistic so we will just have to see how it goes, I might at some point decide to do just that as a personal challenge to myself. “Online Del Boy” is also wat my wife to be calls me, usually when she’s sick of hearing about my new Ideas and domains names that constantly bounce around in my head!

The title of the blog is a reference to Del Boy from only fools and horses, everyone in the UK will have known that straight away but for our other visitors here’s a couple of video’s.
